Get Collection

Damn fine work...! Absolutely fantastic!

Being a spreadsheet junkie, I copied the table from the html page into a spreadsheet so I could better manipulate the data. It was a snap.

I was able to mark all of the albums I already have archived on data discs, begin adding session information, and identify and begin downloading the ones I don't have archived as data yet... all in less than an hour! You saved me weeks.

In addition, I was able to rediscover albums, and explore ones I didn't know I had!

You get my vote for "eMu member of the year." The only way you will lose out at this point is if someone writes a program that allows my PC to automatically grab the artist, title, and session information from the non-eMu albums I have in my living room and throw it into my spreadsheet. ;-)

Great, easy to use program. And not as impactful on eMusic as I was concerned about -- seems to work very well. Granted it would be more efficient for eMusic to do this as they would just make one call to the database and create their output, but if we wait for that we would all be old like me!

Well this means I'll definitely re-subscribe [to eMusic.com].... Between this and [music sleuth], you guys have done more to improve the service then eMusic!

OK, I just got finished using [Get Collection] and I just gotta say that this thing [expletive deleted] destroys. I just ran up and down my street yelling....Seriously though, great stuff.

This is a nice little program. Simple, yet effective. I like how it shows clearly which albums have not been fully downloaded. Can't recommend it more!
